Jakarta – Pakar komunikasi politik dari Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Emrus Sihombing menilai posisi pasangan capres-cawapres nomor urut 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD kini jadi yang paling menguntungkan di Pilpres 2024. Menurut dia, narasi keberlanjutan tetapi tak naif yang diusung pasangan itu diapresiasi publik.
“Ini merupakan starategi yang objektif. Ganjar-Mahfud muncul sebagai pemimpin yang tidak naif melihat kemajuan dan juga kekurangan dari pemerintah Jokowi,” ucap Emrus kepada wartawan di Jakarta, Sabtu (13/1/2024).
Posisi Ganjar-Mahfud yang dianggap tak jelas di pentas Pilpres 2024 kerap jadi bahan kritik. Pasalnya, posisi penerus Jokowi diklaim oleh pasangan Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Di lain sisi, pasangan Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar kuat dipersepsikan sebagai oposisi.
Emrus memandang Ganjar menegaskan posisinya sebagai “penengah” dengan sangat baik pada debat ketiga Pilpres 2024. Ganjar terlihat jadi “pendamai” perseteruan antara pasangan Prabowo-Anies. Namun, ia juga lantang mengkritik kinerja Kementerian Pertahanan (Kemenhan) di bawah pimpinan Prabowo.
“Bukan malah diabaikan. Pembangunan yang dibuat Pak Jokowi ada yang sudah bagus, tetapi bukan berarti sempurna. Di sisi lain, banyak yang harus disempurnakan dan yang masih harus dipercepat. Contohnya, saat ini pemerintahan Jokowi belum maksimalnya ekonomi maritim,” ucap Emrus.
Dalam salah satu segmen debat, Ganjar sempat ditanyai Anies mengenai skor kinerja Kemenhan yang diampu Prabowo. Dengan tegas, Ganjar menyebut skornya hanya 5 dari rentang 1 sampai 10. Padahal, Kemenhan merupakan salah satu kementerian dengan anggaran terbesar.
Di luar debat, Ganjar juga kerap mengkritik kinerja pemerintahan Jokowi. Mantan Gubernur Jawa Tengah itu, misalnya, pernah menyebut sektor maritim tak dibangun dengan serius di era Jokowi. Dalam salah satu forum publik, Ganjar juga pernah memberikan skor 5 untuk bidang penegakan hukum di era Jokowi.
Meski begitu, Ganjar tak selalu mengkritik pemerintah. Tak seperti Anies, Ganjar berjanji bakal melanjutkan pembangunan ibu kota Nusantara (IKN) jika memenangi Pilpres 2024 bersama Mahfud. Ia bahkan jadi capres pertama yang mengunjungi IKN.
Emrus meyakini bila sikap Ganjar-Mahfud yang jujur dan tidak naif melihat capaian Jokowi bakal mendapat respons positit dari publik. Ia meyakini elektabilitas Ganjar-Mahfud bisa kembali membaik jika pemosisian itu dibingkai dengan apik.
“Terutama bila terus masif memposisikan diri sebagai pelanjut dan memperbaiki progam Presiden Jokowi. Itu dapat mendulang suara karena masyarakat akan mengapresiasi,” ucap Emrus.
Pada debat perdana Desember lalu, Ganjar sempat ditanya mengenai posisinya di Pilpres 2024, apakah sebagai penerus Jokowi atau oposisi. Ganjar menegaskan kedua posisi itu tidak relevan dan sangat erat kaitannya dengan kepentingan politik.
“Kapan kita bertemu, kapan kita tidak bertemu, dan kemudian kita akan bersikap pada posisi masing-masing. Tetapi, yang penting pendidikan politik kepada masyarakat. Itu yang menjadi PR (pekerjaan rumah) penting parpol,” kata dia.(*)
