Sumbawa Barat – Pemilihan Umum Legislatif tinggal menghitung hari, 14 Februari 2024 bukanlah waktu yang lama, pasca penetapan Daftar Calon Tetap oleh KPU pekan lalu, para pemilih cerdas pun kini tentu tengah menimang-nimang Caleg mana dan dari Partai apa yang pantas dan layak didukung guna menyalurkan aspirasi politiknya.

Khusus di Daerah Pemilihan (Dapil) Sumbawa Barat III, atau wilayah lingkar tambang yang meliputi Kecamatan Jereweh, Maluk dan Sekongkang.Partai Nasdem mengusung salah satu kader terbaiknya yakni Kamaluddin, S.E asal Kecamatan Maluk menjadi pilihan tepat untuk diusung.

Pria murah senyum yang lebih akrab disapa Bang Owet di Maluk sudah tidak asing, mulai anak-anak hingga lansia mengenal sosok kelahiran 5 Mei 1977 tersebut.

Kiprah Bang owet selama ini nyaris menyasar seluruh segmen kehidupan sosial masyarakat Maluk, mulai dari kegiatan olahraga, budaya kegiatan keagamaan hingga urusan bisnis dan sosial kemasyakatan lainnya tidak luput dari perhatiannya.

Di dunia olahraga Bang Owet menjadi pendiri sekaligus Ketua Umum PS Maluk salah satu klub sepakbola kenamaan di Sumbawa Barat, untuk mengorbitkan pemain muda belum lama ini Bang Owet juga mendirikan Maluk Soccer Academy (MSA), dengan kiprah yang serius di Sepakbola juga membawa Bang Owet menjadi pengurus ini PSSI Sumbawa Barat selama dua periode hingga saat ini.

Untuk kegiatan kepemudaan, Bang Owet aktif sebagai pengurus KNPI  dan pada tahun 2010 lalu membawa Karang Taruna yang ia pimpin menjadi Karang Taruna terbaik di Sumbawa Barat.

Sedangkan di kegiatan keagamaan, Bang Owet sebagai salah satu pengurus dan pengelolah Masjid besar di Maluk sedangkan di kegiatan kebudayaan ia pun menjadi sekretaris Lembaga Adat Tana Samawa (LATS) Maluk.

“ Mengenal beliau Bang Owet sosok yang komplit memang, sosok yang supel murah senyum dan sangat komunikatif, kami percaya beliau sangat patur untuk didorong sebagai wakil rakyat, kiprahnya selama ini sudah mencerminkan sebagai wakil rakyat yang peduli,” ujar Sudarmono tentang sosok Bang Owet.

Sementara itu, khusus masalah tenaga kerja dan usaha tambang, Bang Owet juga dikenal sebagai pengusaha lokal yang jujur dan ulet, ia pun dipercaya sebagai salah satu manager di perusahaan asing asal Australia, kemampuan berbahasa inggris serta disiplin membuatnya sudah lebih dari 10 tahun dipercaya sebagai pimpinan perusahaan tersebut khusus memegang kendali bisnis di Maluk.
