Presiden: Gerakan AntiKorupsi Harus Terus Digalakkan, Masyarakat Jadi Bagian Cegah Korupsi

KMCNews – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyampaikan bahwa gerakan budaya antikorupsi harus terus digalakkan dan masyarakat harus tahu apa itu korupsi, gratifikasi, serta menjadi bagian untuk mencegah korupsi.

”Antikorupsi, kepantasan, dan kepatutan yang harus menjadi budaya,” tutur Presiden saat memberikan sambutan pada acara Aksi Nasional Pencegahan Korupsi secara virtual, Rabu (26/8), di Istana Kepresidenan Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat, seperti dikutip KMCNews di laman Setkab.

Takut melakukan korupsi, menurut Presiden, bukan hanya terbangun atas ketakutan terhadap denda dan terhadap penjara. ”Takut melakukan korupsi juga bisa didasarkan pada ketakutan kepada sanksi sosial, takut dan malu pada keluarga, kepada tetangga, dan kepada Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala, kepada neraka,” ujar Presiden.

Oleh karena itu, Presiden mengajak seluruh komponen bangsa untuk menjadi bagian penting dari gerakan budaya anti korupsi ini. ”Tokoh agama, tokoh budaya, tokoh masyarakat, dan para pendidik institusi pendidikan keagamaan, kesenian, adalah bagian yang sangat penting dari upaya ini,” kata Presiden.

Dengan keteladanan semuanya, perbaikan regulasi dan reformasi birokrasi, Presiden yakin masyarakat akan menyambut baik gerakan budaya antikorupsi ini. Kepala Negara sampaikan akan terus mengikuti aksi pencegahan korupsi ini dari waktu ke waktu.

”Pelaksanaan tiga agenda besar yang tadi saya sampaikan adalah kita bersama-sama laksanakan, samakan visi dan selaraskan langkah untuk membangun pemerintahan yang efektif, yang efisien, dan inovatif, sekaligus bebas dari korupsi,” pungkas Presiden.

Turut hadir mendampingi Presiden dalam agenda tersebut, Menko Polhukam Mahfud MD dan Seskab Pramono Anung. (*)
