Perjuangkan Keluhan Petani Rumput Laut KSB, Komisi II DPRD KSB Datangi Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Propinsi NTB

Sumbawa Barat – Harga rumput laut belakangan ini mengalami trend penurunan harga, hal ini membuat resah dan keluhan dari Petani rumput laut di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat.

Dalam rangka merespon masalah ini, Komisi II DPRD Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat segera bergerak cepat untuk merespon masalah Petani ini dengan mendatangi Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat di Mataram.

Dalam lawatannya ke Provinsi, pada Kamis (21/6/23) Komisi II DPRD Sumbawa Barat yang dipimpin Aheruddin, SE.,ME, Sekretaris H. Riyadi, SE beserta segenap anggota Komisi II DPRD Sumbawa Barat diterima langsung Kepala Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Propinsi NTB, Muslim, S.T.,M.Si yang didampingi jajarannya.

Ketua Komisi II DPRD Sumbawa Barat, Aheruddin dalam keterangannya menyampaikan beberapa poin dari hasil diskusi dan konsultasi dengan Dinas terkait sekaligus didapatkan informasi beberapa factor yang menyebabkan harga rumput laut turun yakni, rumput laut NTB belum bersertifikat Internasional.

“ Dalam hal ini, Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Propinsi NTB saat ini sedang mengusahakan untuk bersertifikat Internasional,” terang Aher sapaan akrab Politisi asal Kecamatan Seteluk tersebut.

Selain itu dikatakan Aher, panen rumput laut secara prematur atau belum cukup umur berdampak pada kwalitas produk, kemudian proses penjemuran, dimana lantai yang digunakan belum berstandar dengan baik.

“ Kendala lainnya persyaratan ekspor Rumput Laut menjadi lebih rumit sehingga eksportir lokal tidak mampu mengirim Rumput laut secara langsung dan harus mengirim melalui perusahaan Internasional di Kota Surabaya,” tambah Aher.

Guna merespon aspirasi Petani rumput laut Sumbawa Barat, Aher menegaskan dalam waktu dekat  Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi NTB akan berkunjung langsung ke lokasi budidaya Rumput Laut yang berada di KSB, selain itu menurut Aher Pemerintah Provinsi  dengan segera membangun koordinasi dengan pihak Dinas Perikanan Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat.(K1)
