Sumbawa Barat – Sumbawa diberkahi dengan keindahan alam yang ideal untuk pariwisata. Misalnya saja Pulau Kenawa, sebuah pulau seluas kurang lebih 15 hektar di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat (KSB).

Di pulau itu terbentang luas savana hijau segar, pantai dengan pasir putih bersih bak negeri dongeng, dan laut biru kemilau yang menggoda untuk aktivitas snorkeling. Ada juga PulauPaserang yang dapat ditempuh selama 15 menit dari Pelabuhan Poto Tano, KSB. Pengunjung dapat bersantai di saung-saung yang tersedia, di tengah suasana alam yang terlindungi dari hiruk-pikuk kebisingan dunia modern perkotaan.Selain kedua pulau ini, masih banyak keindahan alam lain yang tersaji di Sumbawa.

Wisata di Sumbawa bukan hanya keajaiban bagi para turis penikmat wisata saja. Sektorini juga bias menjadi solusi cerdas bagi pemberdayaan masyarakat, termasuk masyarakat lingkar tambang di Sumbawa Barat. Keindahan alam yang merupakan surge bagi para wisatawan akan menjadi oasis baru bagi masyarakat untuk bias lebih berdaya secara ekonomi dan menjadi lebih sejahtera.

Pengembangan wisata suatu wilayah membutuhkan tiga aspek utama, yaitu infrastruktur yang memadai, dukungan investasi, serta pembangunan sumber daya manusia (SDM).

Dibutuhkan sinergi antara pihak pemerintah, swasta, dan masyarakat sekitar untuk bias mewujudkan ketiga aspek tersebut.

Sebagai perusahaan tambang tembaga dan emas yang beroperasi di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat, PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN) menyadari pentingnya peran aktif perusahaan dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan sosio-ekonomi masyarakat melalui pariwisata berkelanjutan (sustainabletourism).

Hal ini merupakan pilar program Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PPM) AMMAN sebagai wujud visi perusahaan untuk menciptakan warisan terbaik. Salah satu program yang diusung adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan menyediakan  program beasiswa pelatihan perhotelan (hospitality).

Tentunya AMMAN tidak berupaya sendiri. Sebagai semangat kolaborasi dan juga untuk memastikan efektivitas program, AMMAN bekerjasama dengan sejumlah lembaga pelatihan hospitality yang telah teruji mencetaklulusan yang berkarir di industry pariwisata. Lembaga tersebut antara lain Bije Jari yang berbasis di Nusa Tenggara Barat, dan Bali Wise by R.O.L.E. Foundation  yang berbasis di Bali.

“AMMAN ingin terus mendorong inklusivitas ekonomi, di mana kemajuan dan kesejahteraan ekonomi bias melibatkan dan dinikmati semua kalangan. Pariwisata adalah sector kunci bagi inklusivitas ekonomi, terutama bagi perempuan. Hal ini juga yang menginspirasi kami untuk bekerjasama dengan Bali Wise by R.O.L.E. Foundation yang memiliki misi untuk memberdayakan kaum perempuan yang termarjinalkan atau memiliki keterbatasan aktivitas ekonomi,” jelas Kartika Octaviana, Head of  Corporate  Communications AMMAN.

Sekitar70 orang dari masyarakat lingkar tambang akan dipilih dalam proses seleksi untuk mengikuti pelatihan profesional. Materi-materi pendidikan yang akan diberikan meliputi pengetahuan dasar perhotelan, kemampuan dasar Bahasa Inggris dan komputer, barista, housekeeping, etika bekerja, dan berbagai keterampilan nyata lainnya untuk bekerja di dunia pariwisata.

Pendidikan teori tersebut akan berlangsung selama tiga bulan. Setelahnya, para peserta beasiswa program ini akan mengikution-the-job training atau pelatihan kerja untuk dapat mengaplikasikan pemahaman mereka dalam praktik kerja secara profesional.Setelah selesai program, para peserta juga akan dihubungkan dengan perusahaan-perusahaan hiring partners di sector penunjang pariwisata seperti hotel, café & restaurant, agen perjalanan, serta pusat kebugaran (spa &wellness center).
