Komisi II Dorong Perhatian Pemerintah untuk Pembinaan dan Pengembangan Pokdarwis

Sumbawa Barat –  Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) menjadi salah satu pilar penting dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat.Karena itu peran Pokdarwis hendaknya terus dikembangkan dan dibina.

Menyadari hal ini, DPRD Sumbawa Barat melalui Komis II terus melakukan upaya mendorong Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat dan Pemerintah Provinsi untuk melakukan Pembinaan dan Pengembangan Pokdarwis yang ada secara berkala.

Sebelumnya, Komisi II DPRD Sumbawa Barat melalui Ketua Komisi II Aheruddin Sidik, SE.,ME beberapa pekan lalu telah melakukan diskusi dengan asosiasi Pokdarwis pada Pelatihan Peningkatan Kapasitas SDM Pokdarwis di Desa Mantar.

“ Menindaklanjuti diskusi sebelumnya, kami Komisi II DPRD KSB bersama Wakil Ketua Pak Abidin Nasar telah berkunjung ke Dinas Pariwisata Propinsi NTB, menyampaikan apa yang menjadi harapan pokdarwis,” ujar Aher sapaan akrab Politisi asal Kecamatan Seteluk tersebut, Kamis (22/6/23).

Aher kemudian mengatakan, dalam pemaparan pihak Dinas Pariwisata Propinsi NTB berbagai rencana strategis dalam pengembangan dan pembinanaan Pokdarwis dan langkah – langkah Pemerintah Propinsi dalam memperkuat koordinasi dengan Dinas Pariwisata, Pemuda dan Olahraga KSB dalam menjaga komitmen dalam pengembangan Destinasi Pariwisata di KSB.

Seperti diketahui KSB memiliki potensi Pariwisata yang cukup potensial, berbagai jenis destinasi wisata tersebar diberbagai Kecamatan yang ada, mulai dari destinasi Pantai, bawah laut, keindahan alam perbukitan,  wisata Pulau, Gua dan wisata budaya juga tak kalah menarik dimiliki KSB.

Potensi tersebut perlu perhatian serius Pemerintah agar sektor Pariwisata dapat dijadikan andalan bagi KSB kedepan, hal inilah yang sekiranya kemudian terus diperjuangkan DPRD Sumbawa Barat melalui Komisi terkait guna mendorong Pemerintah agar lebih focus.(K1*)
